This is our tree that started it all!
'A History of Existing Life' is a phylogenetic tree that graphically represents all lineages of currently living organisms, positioned on the tree revealing how they are all related to one another and how old they are thought to be based on DNA studies and fossil evidence. There is a geological time line on the right side of the tree for easy reference.
Size : 24 x 36" plus approximately 1/4" lamination border around the four sides of the print.

The included 8 page booklet explains in more detail evolution and evolutionary trees. Also included are 24 game cards that can be used in conjunction with the History of Existing Life art print.

This is for a relative who teaches in elementary school - for inspiration of teachers, parents, and of course the kids!

I am a science teacher and have been longing for one of the History of Existing life posters for my classroom for some time.  This year I made it happen and it was beautiful, arrived in a very timely manner and the staff at Fairhope Graphics was extremely helpful.  Looking forward to sharing this art/science with my students!

I could spend a lot of time tracing this tree, discovering new things. And I also enjoy the separate trees: flowering plants (angiosperms), birds... Even Jasper Ridge!  When are you going to make a tree for the dinosaurs? Many kids are interested. This one would have to show extinctions as well as first evolution. Only the birds remain!

This poster is fantastic, and it was a bit of a surprise to get the question cards that came with it, These gave us a new way to look at the poster.
