Half Earth Lecture at American Museum of Natural History

We made a quick trip to the American Museum of Natural History in NYC, to hear singer Paul Simon’s conversation with renowned biologist, naturalist, and author E.O. Wilson about efforts to save the natural world. This discussion was moderated by The New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman.

In the spring of 2017, Paul Simon announced an 18 city tour, the proceeds of which would support the Half-Earth Project. The Half-Earth Project is an initiative of the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation which strives to stop species extinctions by preserving habitats on land and in the seas of half of the earth.
